Talk about EYE CANDY! It is hard to believe this handsome boy was slated for death. Reinhart's owners never came for him and his fear of being caged made him unapproachable. Thank goodness one of our dedicated volunteers saw through his fear and took the time to show him some attention. His tail began to wag and he gave kisses. He jumped straight into the volunteer's car and into his crate when he was rescued. Remember the dog you had in your life that was "The Dog"? Well, he's back! This dog is brilliant and stunning. He learns quickly and is very alert. He went to his foster dad's office and gave kisses to all of the employees. He enjoyed drinking water from the tap on the water cooler. He walked over to someone's desk and gently took an orange off of their desk thinking it was a ball. He loves to play catch and is very toy oriented. Reinhart takes treats and toys gently. We don't believe he will be good with cats. He has been introduced to his canine foster sisters and brother and likes playing with them.He walks beautifully on the leash and shows no interest in other dogs when they bark at him while he is being walked. Reinhart is a well balanced dog, happy and busy,but controlled and mellow at the same time. He absolutely loves riding in the car. We are asking a $500 donation for Reinhart to help us with some critically urgent rescues. Reinhart is the James Bond of the shepherd world! Come and get his autograph for life!
